By POP Ministry Team An 8-week introduction to life as a passionate follower of Jesus Christ who prays daily, worships weekly, reads the Bible, serves at and beyond Prince of Peace, relates with others to encourage spiritual growth, and gives a tithe (10%) and beyond. This orientation has large and small group components and is facilitated by a leader. There are several sections in each study: Welcome • Prayer • Worship music options • Opening devotions Equip • Large group study (provides a teaching forum for biblical exploration and insight into each week’s Mark of Discipleship; the participant’s book is in abbreviated form) • Small group study (facilitates small group conversation/sharing; engages the participants with questions that lead the small group to a deeper understanding and application of each Mark of Discipleship) Send • Growing Deeper (challenges participants to live out each week’s Mark of Discipleship) • Discipleship (encourages further reading and prayer) • Looking Ahead (introduces the following week’s Mark of Discipleship) |
